“La Guerre d’Independence’” Mexico Academy & Central School – Multicolored woodblock scenic mural depicting America’s War of Independence; made in France. Only two exist; the other is displayed in the White House.

Mexico Point State Park – Nature trail, Medieval-style cottage open for tours. Beach open for swimming mid-June through Labor Day.

Fort Ontario – Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the French 7 Indian War. See how officers and soldiers lived from 1868-1869.

Safe Haven Museum & Education Center – commemorates America’s only shelter for Nazi Holocaust survivors during World War II

Salmon River Falls – 110-foot waterfall, higher than Niagara Falls, providing a breathtaking view anytime of the year. Footpath to the bottom of the gorge open May – November.

Salmon River Hatchery – owned and operated by NYS DEC, is the major stocking source of several strains of salmon and trout for Lakes Ontario and Erie.

Camping Specials:

May/June Special: Camp any 30 day period May 1 through June 26 for $345 plus metered electric on an elect/water site (2 adults & dependant children under 18) Leave on site, set up , and ready to use including Memorial Weekend. 

September/October Special: Any 30 day period during September/October - $490 plus metered electric on an elect/water site for 2 adults and 2 children. Leave unit on site, set up and ready to use as often as you wish during the 30 days. Be ready to enjoy the fall activities including watching  and fishing for salmon.. 

Charter Fishing: Located just two miles from Lake Ontario and Mexico Point State Boat Launch, we are always glad to arrange charter/fishing/lodging packages for premier lake fishing.

Group Camping: Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more units May June September and October excluding holiday weekends.
