APRIL 25 – 27: SPRING CLEANUP WEEKEND

Help spruce up the park for the 2008 season – Saturday night free with a pre-paid Friday night and a commitment to work Saturday.  Mention Clean Up and tell us your special skills when reserving. Participants receive free pancake breakfast and dinner on Saturday. Movie with free popcorn on Saturday evening.  

MAY 2 – 4:  WAKE UP THE BEARS!!

It’s time to wake up the bears for another fun filled summer.  FREE FRISBEE at check-in with a two-night pre-paid reservation (Limited 1 per reservation). Kids make noise-makers to wake up Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™. Crafts and games for everyone. Souper Saturday Night - bring a pot of soup to share, we'll provide crusty bread, beverage and desert.  LOC DERBY Registration & Weigh Station May 4-13.  

MAY 9 – 11: MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND/PINK WEEKEND

We'll help you pamper Mom this weekend.  Kids will make Mom a gift, play Mom & Me games. Free drawing for Mom. Breakfast Buffet Sunday ($) FREE for Mom when attending with family. We will honor Breast Cancer Awareness including a light stick parade with Yogi Bear™ & Boo Boo™. A portion of the lite stick sales donated to the Susan B Komen Breast Cancer fund. LOC ends Sunday.   

MAY 16 – 18: LAKE ONTARIO BIRD FESTIVAL

Jellystone Park will host the Lake Ontario Bird Festival on Sat. & Sun. from 10-5. The days will be filled with live bird programs, crafts, food, and entertainment for all ages. Tours will be offered at Mexico Point's historic Casey's Cottage and the Silas Towne historic site. Hiking Trails are also available at the park.  

MAY 23 – 25: MEMORIAL WEEKEND (3 night minimum)

Bicycle Rodeo (Oswego County Traffic Safety Board) crafts, light stick and bicycle parades, patriotic site decorating contest, bingo, patriotic tie dying, tournaments, dance party and more. Make reservations for May 30 - June 1 and leave unit onsite (unplugged from elect.) ready for fun next weekend. LOC Summer Derby May 23 - July 20. Jellystone Park is a registration/weigh station.

May 30 - June 1: GO CAMPING AMERICA - NY STYLE OPEN HOUSE/TEX-MEX WEEKEND

Howdy Partner –Buenos Dias!  Horseshoe pitching, quick draw contest, nail hammering competition, haystack hunt, panning for gold, teen volleyball contest and fun, dance party Saturday night. Ranger Smith will be here to keep Law & Order.

JUNE 6 – 8: KIDS ARE SPECIAL

Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™ will celebrate their birthdays and their little friends’ birthdays with one BIG party (Don't tell Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™ that Cindy Bear™ will be here, it's a surprise) .  Make birthday cards for the bears, party games, piñata break and kids safety program with fingerprinting by Oswego County Sheriff’s Dept. Ranger Smith will join in all the birthday fun. We’ll have a special birthday cake and punch. Gifts brought to the party will be given to the pediatric oncology unit of University Hospital.  

JUNE 13 – 15: FATHER’S DAY

It’s Dad’s turn to get some extra special treatment.  Kids will make a gift for dad, Dads vs. Kids Dads vs. Dads, and other fun games. Sign up Dad for the free drawing. Treat the family to a pulled pork BBQ dinner $7 adults, $3.50 under 10 years, under 5 years free. Dad eats free when accompanied by his family.

JUNE 20 - 22 BATTLE of the SEXES

Mom vs. Dad, Brothers vs. Sisters. We'll have such as tug-o-war, kickball, hula hoop contest, relay race. Test your trivia knowledge about the opposite sex. We'll be keeping score and will announce the winner at the ice cream social.

JUNE 27- 29 DEATH BY CHOCOLATE WEEKEND

Chocolate - Chocolate - Chocolate! We'll have chocolate slip and slide, chocolate tug-o-war, candy bar bingo, chocolate kiss contest, chocolate sponge war games, and more. Enjoy Saturday night chocolate sundae ($). Be sure to bring old clothes for this messy but fun weekend.

JULY 3 – JULY 7: INDEPENDENCE WEEKEND (3 night minimum)

Celebrate our Nation’s Birthday with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo.  Bicycle decorating and parade, red, white and blue tie dying, light stick parade, patriotic site decorating contest, duck race, horseshoe tournament, dance party with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo. Join us for 5 fun packed days. JULY 11 – 13: WET 'N WILD WEEKEND

Join us for this water extravaganza. There will be a regatta race, water balloon fights, water balloon volleyball, water sponge tag, bubble wagon ride, and water relays.   

JULY 18 – 20: UNDER THE SEA/PIRATES WEEKEND

This fun weekend includes boat races, walking the plank with Pirate Yogi Bear, face painting, making fish hats, minnow race, fabric coloring/ceramics($), water gun fights, more games and movies. Summer Derby ends Sunday.

JULY 25 – 27: CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Bring your Christmas decorations for our annual site-decorating contest. We’ll celebrate with light stick caroling, crafts and cookie decorating.  Santa will join Yogi Bear and Boo Boo for a Christmas party on Saturday night.  Please bring a small wrapped gift (under $5) for your child to receive from Santa or purchase one from the Jellystone Park Gift Shop.  Make reservations early for this weekend. 

AUGUST 1- 3: MARDI GRAS WEEKEND

The Krewe of Yogi Bear is throwing a big party this weekend.  Bring your bikes, wagons or strollers to decorate and join the floats for the big parade.  Kids will trim masks during craft time. There will be lots of bead throwing – bring your own or purchase them in the store. 

AUGUST 8 – 10: HAWAIIAN WEEKEND

Bring your favorite bright colored Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts and join Yogi Bear for a beach party. Yogi Bear will teach his style of the hula and lead the limbo. See how long you can keep a hula hoop going.  There will be crafts, sand castle building, beach ball volleyball , coconut bowling, and more..... 

AUGUST 15- 17: NOSTAGLIA/CORN ROAST WEEKEND

Brush up on 50s/80s trivia, pack up the family and join us for a great weekend of games, music, and fun. Sign up for the talent contest - all ages. Saturday night's highlight is the annual FREE corn roast (Hot dogs, hamburgers and other foods available($)). LOC Fall Derby Registration & Weigh station August 15 - September 2.  

AUGUST 22 – 24: DINOSAUR WEEKEND

Our GIANT Weekend.  Flashlight dinosaur egg hunt, dinosaur cookie decorating, dinosaur crafts, movies,  games will make a big, fun time. Who will be named BIG FOOT – the human dinosaur? 

AUGUST 29-SEPTEMBER 1: LABOR DAY WEEKEND – (3 night minimum)

The last big weekend before school starts so let’s fill it with  horseshoes, bingo, duck races, volleyball, crafts, ceramics($), tie dying($) and a dance party with Yogi Bear.  Make reservations for next week and leave your unit (unplugged) on site for free. Derby ends Monday.

SEPTEMBER 5– 7:  FAMILY GAME WEEKEND

You can sit back and relax after the hectic week of a new school year or join in whatever games appeal to you.  We’ll have bingo & bunco, volleyball, ball games, horseshoes, crafts, fabric coloring & ceramics($). Family breakfast on Saturday morning. 

SEPTEMBER 12 - 14: SAFARI WEEKEND

We’ll make African masks, wild animal face painting, and have a wild animal parade. There will be games, color time fabric coloring, ceramics, and more fun for a great weekend.   

SEPTEMBER 19 - 21: HALLOWEEN I

SEPTEMBER 26 – 28: HALLOWEEN II

OCTOBER 3 - 5: HALLOWEEN III

Join Yogi Bear & Boo Boo for trick and treats, pumpkin decorating, wagon rides, costume parade through the park, the park trick or treating, site decorating for prizes and movies.  Take a tour through this year’s haunted experience.  Yogi Bear will host a special Halloween party activities for our little friends. 

OCTOBER 10 - 13: COLUMBUS WEEKEND & HALLOWEEN IV (3 night minimum)

It’s the last long weekend of the season.  Join us for another Halloween like the ones above (well almost, there may be a few more surprises.  There should be salmon in the river this weekend – fun to watch even if you don’t fish.  Say goodnight to Yogi Bear and Boo Boo as they go into hibernation. 

OCTOBER 17 - 19: THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner.  We’ll roast the turkey and fix the trimmings ($) you bring the desserts to share.  Please be sure to sign up Friday night for the dinner.  There will be movies and fabric coloring/ceramics. Check out the big sales throughout the store. 

OCTOBER 24 - 26 ANNIVERSARY & SOUPER SATURDAY

Last weekend of the season. Pay for one night get second free for a family of four with advance prepaid reservation only.  Ask for the anniversary special.  Salmon fishing at the campground, apple picking nearby.  Special anniversary sales in the store.  SOUPER SUPPER on Saturday night – you bring a pot of your favorite soup to share and we’ll provide the crusty bread and beverage.  Free pancakes Sunday morning.
