APRIL 17 – 19: SPRING CLEANUP WEEKEND

Help spruce up the park for the 2009 season – Saturday night free with a pre-paid Friday night and a commitment to work Saturday.  Mention Clean Up and tell us your special skills when reserving. Participants receive free pancake breakfast and dinner on Saturday. Movie with free popcorn on Saturday evening.  

APRIL 24 – 26:  SPRING EGGTRAVAGANZA

It will be an egg-citing weekend of crafts, egg tossing, making and modeling spring hats, and prizes for the most creative hat in each category/age bracket.

MAY 1 –3:  WAKE UP THE BEARS!!

It’s time to wake up the bears for another fun filled summer.  FREE FRISBEE at check-in with a two-night pre-paid reservation (Limited 1 per reservation). Kids make noise-makers to wake up Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™. Crafts and games for everyone.  

MAY 8 – 10: MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND

We'll help you pamper Mom this weekend.  Kids will make Mom a gift, play Mom & Me games. Free drawing for Mom. Breakfast Buffet Sunday ($) FREE for Mom when attending with family.   

MAY 15 – 17 EMERGENCY RESPONSE WEEKEND (Sheriff, Police, Fire, EMT)

10% discount on all sites and rental units for all those who keep us safe (valid ID required). A weekend of “friendly competition, including a mini-golf tournament. 

MAY 22 – 25: MEMORIAL WEEKEND (3 night minimum)

Bicycle Rodeo (Oswego County Traffic Safety Board) crafts, games, light stick and bicycle parades, patriotic site decorating contest, and more. Make reservations for May 29 - 31 and leave unit onsite (unplugged from elect.) ready for fun next weekend. 

May 29 - 31: OPEN HOUSE/TEX-MEX WEEKEND

Howdy Partner –Buenos Dias!  - This weekend we extend an invitation for the public to tour the park and join our campers for special activities for kids & adults all day Saturday & Sunday. No fee for visitors.

JUNE 5 – 7: KIDS ARE SPECIAL

Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™, and their little friends will celebrate their birthdays together with one BIG party. Kids will make birthday cards and hats for the cake & punch party. Gifts brought to the party will be given to the pediatric oncology unit of University Hospital.  

JUNE 12 – 14: JELLYSTONE RACE WEEKEND

This weekend will provide racing opportunities – build, then race a cardboard boxcar; remote car races (bring your own); matchcar races (cars provided); field races and “horse races”.

JUNE 19 – 21: FATHER’S DAY

It’s Dad’s turn to get some extra special treatment. Kids will make a gift for dad, Dads vs. Kids, Dads vs. Dads and other fun games. Sign up Dad for the free drawing.

JUNE 26 – 28: CHOCOLATE EXTRAVAGANZA

Chocolate – Chocolate – Chocolate! We’ll have a variety of chocolate games for all ages. Enjoy Sat. nite chocolate sundae ($). Be sure to bring old clothes for this messy, but fun weekend.

JULY 2 – 5: INDEPENDENCE WEEKEND (3 night minimum)

Celebrate our Nation’s Birthday with Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™.Celebrate our Nation’s Birthday with Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™. Bicycle decorating and parade, red, white and blue tie dying, lite stick parade, patriotic site decorating contest, horseshoe tournament, dance party with Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™.

JULY 10 – 12: YOGI’S FAMILY OLYMPICS

It’s a family affair with events for all age brackets. The torch will be lit Friday evening and will be extinguished at noon on Sunday with lots of fun competition and awards in between.

JULY 17 – 19: UNDER THE SEA/PIRATES WEEKEND

This fun weekend includes boat races, walking the plank with Pirate Yogi Bear™, face painting, fabric coloring/ceramics ($), water gun fights, more games and movies.

JULY 24 – 26: CHRISTMAS IN JULY

We've invited some very special guests to celebrate Christmas with us so make your reservations early. Activities will include tree trimming, cookie decorating, caroling and a Christmas Party. Bring a small gift (approx. $5, please) for Santa to give to your child at the party. Site judging contest for prizes.

JULY 31 - AUGUST 2: MARDI GRAS WEEKEND

The Krewe of Yogi Bear™ is throwing a big party this weekend. We’ll trim masks; decorate floats for a colorful parade. There will be lots of bead throwing and a Costume Ball with Yogi™ and Boo Boo™.

AUGUST 7 – 9: HAWAIIAN WEEKEND

Bring your favorite bright colored Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts and join Yogi Bear™ for a beach party. Yogi Bear™ will teach his style of the hula and lead the limbo. See how long you can keep a hula-hoop going. There will be crafts, sand castle building, beach ball volleyball, coconut bowling and more.

AUGUST 14 - 16: NOSTAGLIA/CORN ROAST WEEKEND

Brush up on 50s/80s trivia, pack up the family and join us for a great weekend of games, music and fun. Sign up for the talent show– all ages. Sat. nite’s highlight is the annual FREE corn roast (hot dogs, hamburgers & other foods available ($).

AUGUST 21 – 23: DINOSAUR WEEKEND

Our GIANT Weekend. Flashlight dinosaur egg hunt, dinosaur crafts, movies and games will make for a BIG, fun time.

AUGUST 28 - 30: SAFARI WEEKEND

We’ll make African Masks, wild animal face painting and have a wild animal parade. There will be games, tie dying, color time fabric coloring, ceramics and more fun for a great weekend.

SEPTEMBER 4 – 7: LABOR DAY WEEKEND – (3 night minimum)

The last big weekend before school starts so let’s fill it with horseshoes, bingo, volleyball, crafts, ceramics ($), tie dying ($) and a dance party with Yogi Bear. Make reservations for next week and leave your unit (unplugged) on site for free.

SEPTEMBER 11 – 13: BATTLE of the SEXES

Mom vs. Dad, Brothers vs. Sisters. We’ll keep score for the Guys and Girls and announce the winners at the Ice Cream Social on Saturday night.

SEPTEMBER 18 - 20: HALLOWEEN I

SEPTEMBER 25 – 27: HALLOWEEN II

OCTOBER 2 – 4: HALLOWEEN III

Join Yogi Bear™ & Boo Boo™ for trick and treats, pumpkin decorating, wagon rides, costume parade through the park, trick or treating, site decorating for prizes and movies. Take a tour through this year’s haunted experience. Yogi Bear™ will host special Halloween party activities for our little friends.

OCTOBER 9 - 12: COLUMBUS WEEKEND & HALLOWEEN IV (3 night minimum)

It’s the last long weekend of the season. Join us for another Halloween like the ones above (well almost, there may be a few more surprises. There should be salmon in the river this weekend – fun to watch even if you don’t fish. Say goodnight to Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™ as they go into hibernation.

OCTOBER 16 - 18: THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. We’ll roast the turkey and fix the trimmings ($) you bring the desserts to share. Please be sure to sign up Friday night for the dinner. There will be movies and fabric coloring/ceramics. Check out the big sales throughout the store.

OCTOBER 23 - 25 ANNIVERSARY & SOUPER SATURDAY

Last weekend of season. Pay site fee (rentals excluded) for one night get second free for a family of four with advance-prepaid reservation only. Ask for the anniversary special. Salmon fishing at the campground, apple picking nearby. Special anniversary sales in the store. SOUPER SUPPER on Saturday nite – you bring a pot of your favorite soup to share and we’ll provide the crusty bread and beverage.

JUNE 22ND THROUGH LABOR DAY – ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED EVERY DAY!!!

Celebrating a birthday anniversary or other special occasion while camping with us? Yogi Bear and Boo Boo love parties and have several different Party Packages available to choose from: Economy - $15.99, Yogi visits site with signed birthday card; DeLuxe - $39.50, Yogi visits site with signed card, birthday cake and Yogi Bear beanie; Supreme - $49.99, Yogi and Boo Boo visit site with signed card, cake, Yogi and Boo Boo beanies. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance – subject to availability.
